KAMLOOPS — The public is being notified of a positive COVID-19 case last week at South Kamloops Secondary School (SKSS).
In an email to families, SKSS Principal Walt Kirschner says a member of the school community tested positive and is self-isolating at home.
The potential exposure dates are January 7 and 8, and Kirschner says contact tracing with Interior Health is underway.
If you are not contacted by public health it has been determined your student was not a close contact of the positive individual, and is not at risk from exposure.
