Katy Perry’s alleged stalker did not show up for his arraignment on Friday (January 8th). The L.A. City Attorney told TMZ that the court issued a bench warrant for failure to appear.
William Edward Terry was charged on Wednesday (January 6th) with one count of trespassing for a September incident at the singer’s home in Beverly Hills.
According to court documents, on August 3rd, Terry tried to get onto Perry’s property by lying to her security team and saying he’d been invited. Then, on September 8th, the documents claim he “jumped the fence” at her house, and was placed under citizen’s arrest. He was taken into police custody, but released.
Perry also claims Terry has threatened her fiancé Orlando Bloom via online posts.
