COVID-19 case at Kamloops Seniors Village

KAMLOOPS — It’s not considered an outbreak, but officials at Kamloops Seniors Village on Hugh Allan Drive say a staff member has tested positive for COVID-19.
A message from Manager Lisa Robitaille this week says that they were informed December 28th that a staff members working in the 2B neighbourhood of the structure has tested positive. She says that staffer is isolating at home. The staff member was wearing proper protective gear at all times.
Robitaille adds that, as a precaution, all visitations have been cancelled until it’s been determined that all is safe. She says there have been no other problems at this time.
