TANYA ROBERTS DEATH MIX-UP: Tanya Roberts was reported as dead by her publicist because longtime partner Lance O’Brien said he was crying over the phone to him after a long day at the hospital, he told Page Six. “[Pingel] goes, ‘What happened?’ And I say, ‘I just said goodbye to Tanya, and I got to see her beautiful eyes one last time.’ And after that, I’m just blubbering,” O’Brien recalled. Next thing I know, TMZ, OMG, is on my cell phone.” The actress has in fact now been taken off life support, and it does look like she will pass. (Page Six)

LATE NIGHT GOES REMOTE: Jimmy Kimmel and James Corden are back to working from home amid a surge in COVID cases. The late night talk show hosts have resumed remote production of their shows. Kimmel said Monday on the show: “Hi, I’m Jimmy, I’m the host of this house. Thanks for watching from your house. This is our first show of the new year. And exciting new year. 2021 is in, 2020 is out. I’ve been bubbling with enthusiasm, optimism. I’ve been ready for a return to normalcy. And here I am doing the show from my kitchen again. Because there’s a deadly virus, that seems to be living in LA now. It seems to have taken permanent residence here. I believe it lives across the street from me in Kendall Jenner‘s old house.” (ET)

SEAN MCENROE MARRIES: The artist son of actress Tatum O’Neal and tennis icon John McEnroe married wife Niamh on September 29 in Sedona, Arizona, People reports. “We decided to keep it private until now. We went through a lot of challenges and difficulties this past year,” McEnroe says. “Niamh was pregnant in the fall but lost the baby at the end of her first trimester. It was devastating but in the end, it’s made us closer and stronger. And our bond is better than it’s ever been.” (People)
