Zary signs entry level contract with Calgary Flames

KAMLOOPS — Connor Zary has taken another step towards his NHL career with the signing of a three-year entry level contract with the Calgary Flames.

In the 2020 NHL Draft in October, Zary was picked by the Flames in the 1st round, 24th overall.

During the 2019-20 Western Hockey League season, Zary scored 38 goals, with 48 assists and 86 points in 57 games. He was also named to the WHL’s Western Conference First All-Star team.

Zary is playing with Team Canada in Edmonton this week at the 2021 World Junior Hockey Championship.
