Christmas tree recycling starts

KAMLOOPS — A reminder that if you have finished with your Christmas tree this year, recycling of trees is underway until January 15th.

You can drop your tree off at any of the City’s drop off sites. Make sure all the decorations and tinsel are off the tree before you drop it off.

The complete list of drop off sites is on the City of Kamloops web page, but they include Barnhartvale landfill, McArthur Island east of the Sports Centre, Cinnamon Ridge, Westsyde Park and the McGill Road Waste Depot on Bunker Road. They do not include the City Land Fill on Mission Flats Road.
