COVID-19 exposure at Aberdeen Elementary during last week before winter break

KAMLOOPS — Aberdeen Elementary School has told its parents about a COVID-19 exposure at the school.
According to an email to parents, the exposure took place on a single day: Tuesday, December 15, with one member of the school community who has tested positive for the virus.
The individual, who is not identified, is said to be isolated at home.
The last day of school before winter break was Friday, Dec. 18. Students are set to return to school across the Kamloops-Thompson School District on Monday, Jan. 4.
