Three Arrested at Merritt Drug House

MERRITT — The Merritt RCMP executed a search warrant at a local drug house in Merritt on December 23.

“The warrant was granted for the search of a known drug house. The Merritt RCMP have been called to this house on a number of previous occasions. During the entry into the residence three males were arrested inside,” wrote Cpl. Derrick Francis.

Large quantities of crystal meth, crack cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl were seized. The amount of drugs seized would be equivalent to approximately 5000 individual doses.

“Along with the drugs, a loaded handgun was seized. The Merritt RCMP are very concerned with the increase in firearms being located at local drug houses,” added Francis.
