COVID-19 increase in Kamloops, with 35 new cases found last week

VICTORIA — The BC Centre for Disease Control has updated virus mapping for local health areas, with 35 COVID-19 cases identified in Kamloops between December 13-19.

That’s up from the 21 cases identified in Kamloops between December 6 to 12.

These are some other LHA totals in the Kamloops vicinity, recorded last week:

Cariboo/Chilcotin – 0 (down by 3 from last week)

North Thompson – 0 (unchanged)

100 Mile House – 1 (up by 1)

South Cariboo – 1 (up by 1)

Lillooet – 2 (up by 1)

Merritt – 0 (down by 1)

Vernon – 28 (down by 6)

Armstrong-Spallumcheen – 1 (down by 3)

Enderby – 2 (up by 2)

Salmon Arm — 14 (up by 3)

Revelstoke – 7 (up by 6)
