BARRIERE, B.C. — Two Barriere residents have been charged after a stolen vehicle was set ablaze earlier this year.
The initial incident happened on October 29, when a crash was reported involving a vehicle stolen out of Alberta. Responding RCMP found the vehicle on fire, with evidence that the fire had been intentionally set.
This week, charges of arson and possession of a stolen vehicle have been approved against Hayden Fowler, 27, and Charlene Ponsford, 24, both of Barriere.
Each has a court appearance set for early January.
