COVID-19 exposure reported at Kamloops School of the Arts

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops School of the Arts has been added to the Interior Health school COVID-19 exposure website.

According to the site, the exposure happened on four days last week — December 7, 8, 9 and 10.

Those who had direct contact with the COVID-19-positive person will be contacted by IH public health officials and be asked to self-isolate.

If you are not contacted by IH, you are asked to continue attending school as usual.

This is the third school exposure confirmed in Kamloops since the pandemic began, after earlier exposures at NorKam Secondary and Westsyde Secondary. In contrast, there are 19 exposures currently listed for Kelowna and area.
