South Cariboo property owners asked to secure their homes after Mahood Lake break-and-enter
MAHOOD LAKE, B.C. — RCMP in the South Cariboo are reminding seasonal property owners to secure their properties after a costly break-and-enter last month.
According to a news release from 100 Mile House RCMP, the incident was reported at a seasonal property near Mahood Lake.
Items taken include a chainsaw, fish finder and two-way radio.
A security camera captured images of a pickup truck in the area late at night. The truck is not associated with any of the properties. RCMP say it looks like a newer model Ford F-350. Anyone who can identify the vehicle or its owner is asked to contact RCMP, as it is considered a vehicle of interest.
