Eleven impaired Kamloops drivers caught in weekend road checks

KAMLOOPS — Holiday parties are not happening this year, but that hasn’t completely eliminated impaired drivers from Kamloops roads.
Kamloops RCMP say CounterAttack operations over the weekend found 11 drivers impaired by alcohol.
One vehicle was impounded and six other drivers were cited for other violations.
Sgt. Darren Michels reminds those who plan on imbibing to plan a ride rather than getting behind the wheel, and adds there will be more road checks before the holiday season ends.
