RCMP search Upper Sahali home connected to ongoing investigation

KAMLOOPS — RCMP say a large police presence in Upper Sahali Thursday morning (Dec. 10) was related to a search warrant.

According to Sgt. Darren Michels, RCMP officers came to the neighbourhood around 6:30 a.m. About six police cruisers were seen centred around a home in the 500-block of Gleneagles Drive.

Michels says the officers executed a search warrant related to an ongoing investigation.

One man was taken into custody as the warrant was carried out, but was later released without charge pending results of the investigation. Michels says some items of evidence were also seized.
