REVELSTOKE, B.C. — Interior Health (IH) says a cluster of COVID-19 cases in Revelstoke has ballooned to 46. That is an increase from 29 confirmed cases identified for the last update on Friday (Nov. 27).
In a news release, IH says 32 of the cases are currently active. Contact tracing has connected many of the newly-identified cases with cases that were previously confirmed.
Related to this community cluster is an exposure at Ecole de Glacier Elementary last Monday (Nov. 23). Unless contacted by public health officials, students and staff are encouraged to continue attending the school.
IH reminds local residents to limit social activities in accordance with public health orders and limit non-essential travel.
