Williams Lake woman’s big Lotto 6/49 win leaves her $500,000 richer

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — November 18 was Maureen Fulton’s lucky day.

The Williams Lake woman matched all four numbers on that day’s Lotto 6/49 draw to win $500,000.

In a news release, B.C. Lottery Corporation (BCLC) says Fulton bought the winning ticket at the Save-On Foods on Oliver Street in Williams Lake.

She says she used the self-scanner at Handi-Mart when she found out her good luck.

“Out of the corner of my eye, I saw that it said I had won something. I scanned it again and was in such a daze, I can’t remember what crossed my mind at that moment,” said Fulton.
