COVID-19 surge continues in B.C. with 911 new cases Friday, 11 more deaths
VICTORIA — The surge in COVID-19 cases seen throughout North America is being mirrored in B.C.
In a news conference, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry revealed the province has found a daily record 911 new cases of COVID-19 Friday (Nov. 27), including 47 within Interior Health.
The new cases mean the total case count in B.C. has eclipsed 30,000, at a total of 30,885, spread around B.C. as follows:
- 8,482 — Vancouver Coastal (up by 153)
- 19,428 — Fraser Health (up by 649)
- 571 — Island Health (up by 27)
- 1,538 — Interior Health (up by 47)
- 772 — Northern Health (up by 35)
- 94 — Reside outside of Canada (unchanged)
