Water systems given the all-clear in Sunnybrae, Scotch Creek

SALMON ARM, B.C. — The Columbia-Shuswap Regional District (CSRD) has good news for a water systems at a pair of locations.
A water quality advisory has been dropped for the Sunnybrae Water System. The advisory was first instituted on October 21 due to increased turbidity in the water.
In addition, a longer-standing boil water notice has been lifted for the Scotch Creek-Lee Creek Fire Hall and Community Hall.
That notice was issued on July 13 due to “unacceptable” levels of bacteria, but was confined to the property’s stand-alone water system only.
