Quesnel woman wins $200K playing Scratch & Win

QUESNEL — A Quesnel woman is $200,000 richer after purchasing a winning Scratch & Win ticket.

The BC Lottery Corporation says Patricia Berston bought the ticket after an exhausting day running errands.

“Patricia Berston sat down at her kitchen table to play Casino Royale II, a Scratch & Win game offered by BCLC, and was in awe when she realized she had won $200,000,” states the news release.

“The first person I told was my husband,” said Berston. “He was pretty excited. I haven’t told anyone else about winning since. I still am in shock.”

She says she doesn’t have any plans on what to do with the money yet.
