Mustard Seed manager Mario Borba announces resignation

KAMLOOPS — The Mustard Seed Kamloops is on the lookout for a new managing director.

Mario Borba has announced he is stepping down, effective Nov. 27. In an email message, Borba says he has accepted a position as a CEO for “a new organization” in Alberta.

Borba stepped into the role leading the faith-based social agency in September, 2019.

In announcing his resignation, Borba praised the staff and mission of the Mustard Seed and says he believes it will continue to “achieve great things.”

The organization will hire an interim managing director for the next six months until a replacement is chosen.
