Serious crash closes southbound Coquihalla near Inks Lake

KAMLOOPS — UPDATE: Traffic is getting through but congestion is expected at this spot.

EARLIER: A serious two-vehicle crash has closed the southbound lanes of the Coquihalla Highway near Inks Lake.

The crash at about 2:00 p.m. involved a semi and a car.

B.C. Emergency Health Services personnel treated one patient in critical condition at the scene before the patient was airlifted to hospital.

Witnesses on scene say the crash was quite serious.
