Single Shuswap arrest closes several RCMP investigations
EAGLE BAY, B.C. — RCMP in the Shuswap say a single arrest Monday (Nov. 16) helped officers solve a series of break-ins and nab a man wanted on outstanding warrants in one fell swoop.
In a release, Salmon Arm RCMP says officers were called at 7:00 a.m. Monday to a break-and-enter in the 2600-block of Eagle Bay Road.
Investigators followed tracks from the first break-in to discover two more break-ins.
At the third home, a man carrying break-and-enter tools ran from police. Officers gave chase and took him into custody.
