Kamloops man arrested inside 100 Mile House industrial compound
100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — A Kamloops man was arrested Tuesday (Nov. 17) after an early-morning confrontation at a 100 Mile House industrial property.
In a release, 100 Mile House RCMP say officers were called to a property in the Exeter Industrial Park at about 4:23 a.m. Tuesday. The caller said a man was found in the compound and they were having a physical confrontation.
Investigators believe bolt cutters were used to get into the compound and the culprit rummaged through several vehicles once inside. The suspect had been hiding in one of the vehicles when he was found.
Mounties seized several rounds of ammunition from the man, as well as potentially stolen ID and vehicle registrations from the Kamloops area.
