Third employee at Kamloops Home Hardware positive for COVID-19

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Home Hardware location has reported a third employee has tested positive for COVID-19.

In a notice posted to Facebook, Owner Rick Kurzac says the employee was last in the store on Nov. 6, working an 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. shift in the paint sales department.

After the first two employees tested positive, the store underwent a closure and deep clean on Wednesday (Nov. 11).

Kurzac says employees who may have been in close contact with those who have tested positive for COVID-19 are following guidelines set out by Interior Health.
