COVID-19 case count swells by 1,130 in B.C.; Kamloops count was 29 in October
VICTORIA — B.C. recorded 1,130 new cases of COVID-19 over the past two days, including a daily high 594 new cases Thursday (Nov. 12).
Thirty-four of the new cases reported by Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry Thursday were found within Interior Health.
The new cases swell the provincial total to 20,368 cases since the pandemic arrived in B.C., spread through the province as follows:
- 6,109 — Vancouver Coastal (up by 249)
- 12,390 — Fraser Health (up by 808)
- 324 — Island Health (up by 16)
- 956 — Interior Health (up by 34)
- 500 — Northern Health (up by 23)
- 90 — Reside outside of Canada (unchanged)
