Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek dies

LOS ANGELES — After a nearly two-year battle with cancer, Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek died Sunday (Nov. 8).

According to a social media post from the show, Trebek died peacefully at his home Sunday morning.

Trebek was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in February, 2019.

In September, Trebek told ABC News he was responding well to treatment.
