Two injured in assault near 100 Mile House

100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — RCMP in 100 Mile House are looking for your help as they investigate a serious assault.

According to an RCMP news release, the assault involved a weapon and took place on Monday (Nov. 2), southeast of 100 Mile House in the 5000-block of Horse Lake Road.

One person received a head injury and was treated in hospital before being released. A second person received minor injuries.

A vehicle associated with the incident is described as a Chevy Silverado-style pickup truck with a white cab, grey bed and missing the lower half of its front bumper.

Investigators believe the incident to be isolated. They would like to speak with passers-by who took the victims to hospital.
