A news release was issued this morning (Oct. 29).

The announcement is not an order, but rather an expectation.

The province reported 287 new cases of COVID-19 across B.C. yesterday. There were 10 new cases reported within the Interior Health region.

In recent weeks other cities across Canada, including Edmonton and Calgary, have issued orders for residents to wear masks inside all public places.
