Someone is throwing lit firecrackers at young girls in 100 Mile House
100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — RCMP in 100 Mile House are investigating a series of incidents in which lit firecrackers were thrown at unsuspecting pedestrians.
The most recent complaint came in on Oct. 2. Two girls said they were walking near Fourth Avenue and Birch Avenue at about 3:15 p.m. on two days the previous week.
The girls reported that, on both occasions, a man drove up and threw something out the window at them that made a loud bang. RCMP believe it was a cherry bomb.
The girls described the man as in his mid-30s with a moustache and driving a small, silver car.
