Freshly Brewed Buzz with Botched and Anne Heche
ASHLEY HEBERT, JP ROSENBAUM SPLIT: Bachelorette couple JP Rosenbaum and Ashley Hebert are over, they shared on social media. Rosenbaum wrote: “Please please please know that there is no one to blame, that there’s no event that triggered this decision, that no one is the victim, and that we’ve done absolutely everything we possibly can to try to salvage this marriage. I think we’ve both come to realize that we are just two very different people, with very different personalities and perspectives, who just don’t see eye to eye on a lot [of] life fundamentals, those which are the building blocks for a happy and healthy marriage.” The pair met on Seaso 7 in 2011 and married in 2012. They share two children. In December, Rosenbaum revealed that he had been diagnosed with Guillain-Barr syndrome, a rare disorder in which the nerves are attacked by the body’s immune system. BOTCHED DOC SUES: Dr. Terry Dubrow is suing after a patient told Page Six and other pubs that the 62-year-old Botched star “botched” her butt lift. In court docs obtained by Page Six, Dubrow accused Sandy Scoggins of attempting to garner fake sympathy, after first trying to extort him for $5 million. But her lawyer is striking back, telling Page Six: “Our client’s life was turned upside down and nearly taken by Dubrow, and he is attempting to suppress the truth of his incompetence with a confidential arbitration clause.” (Page Six)
DEXTER REVIVED: Dexter is being revived by Showtime, with Michael C. Hall set to return as the avenging killer eight years after the show ended, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The 10-episode limited series will land on Showtime. “Dexter is such a special series, both for its millions of fans and for Showtime, as this breakthrough show helped put our network on the map many years ago,” said Showtime Entertainment president Gary Levine. “We would only revisit this unique character if we could find a creative take that was truly worthy of the brilliant, original series. Well, I am happy to report that Clyde Phillips and Michael C. Hall have found it, and we can’t wait to shoot it and show it to the world.” (THR)
ANNE HECHE DUBS HARRISON FORD A HERO: Anne Heche says that Harrison Ford is one of her heroes for supporting her during her relationship with Ellen DeGeneres, when most of Hollywood turned its back. She told ET: “I would not have gotten that movie,” she said, referring to her turn in the 1998 action rom-com Six Days Seven Nights. “He called me the day after they said I wasn’t gonna get it, because I took Ellen to the [Volcano] premiere, and Harrison Ford, he was a hero.” (ET)
