B.C. records 125 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday; two in Interior Health

VICTORIA — The provincial Ministry of Health is reporting 125 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday (Sept. 30), including two within Interior Health.

The new cases bring the total provincial case count to 9,138, spread through B.C. as follows:

  • 3,340 — Vancouver Coastal (up by 54)
  • 4,658 — Fraser Health (up by 64)
  • 208 — Island Health (up by 2)
  • 533 — Interior Health (up by 2)
  • 312 — Northern Health (up by 3)
  • 87 — Reside outside of Canada (unchanged)

In a news release, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry reported the active case load at 1,284, including 72 people who are in hospital and 21 in intensive care.
