Crown of Curling cancelled
Sep 25, 2020 | 3:02 PM
KAMLOOPS — There won’t be a Kamloops Crown of Curling next month.
The annual cash bonspiel is the latest local tournament cancelled because of COVID-19.
The Crown has been played annually since 1974.
Kamloops has been selected to host the B.C. men’s and women’s curling championships at McArthur Island in late January, 2021.
A decision on whether to go ahead with those two events will be made by Curl B.C. at a later date.
