Police search for suspects in Southgate break-ins

KAMLOOPS — A string of break and enters in the Southgate Industrial Park area late last night ( Sept 21).
Staff Sergeant Mat Van Laer says there were four reports in a half hour span starting at 11:15 PM Monday night. Staff Van Laer says a glass door was broken in each instance. He says the strange thing is that in each case, very little was reported stolen, in some cases, perhaps nothing at all.
Van Laer says it’s too early to say for sure that all the break-ins were related, but it’s certainly a possibility. All the break-ins took place at businesses in the McGill Road and Dalhousie Drive area.
There is a pretty clear picture of a suspect caught on surveillance video at one business. The male was described as Caucasian, wearing a black hoodie and carrying a red and white back pack.
