Mustard Seed inviting Kamloops residents to ‘Camp at Home for Hope’
KAMLOOPS — The Mustard Seed is inviting Kamloops residents to help less fortunate community members by camping from home this weekend.
For the first time, the non-profit is hosting a Camp At Home for Hope event to raise money for people experiencing homelessness in the community. The fundraiser will be held Saturday through Sunday (Sept. 19-20), and those who take part are asked to set up a tent in their backyards, or bring out some sleeping bags for a living room camp-out.
Participants who sign up to camp from home will be provided with camping recipes, games, and activities. Registration packages are available for individuals, couples, and families.
