Clearwater woman charged with second-degree murder

CLEARWATER – A Clearwater woman is facing a charge of second-degree murder.
RCMP say they received a 911 emergency call and responded to a remote area of the Adams Forest Service Road Sunday. When they arrived, they found the body of David Simpson of Clearwater.
Ashleigh Tschritter was taken into custody and transported to the Clearwater RCMP detachment. She has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with Simpson’s death.
Police say the case is an isolated incident and advise there is no threat to the public.
