BC health officials reporting 104 new COVID-19 cases
VICTORIA — There have been 104 new cases of COVID-19 identified in B.C. as of Wednesday (Sept. 2), according to provincial health officials.
Health Minister Adrian Dix and provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry issued a joint statement, saying there are now 1,127 active cases of COVID-19.
On top of those confirmed cases, Dr. Henry says there are 2,786 people under active public health monitoring after exposure to individuals with known cases.
With five additional cases reported in the interior region, Interior Health’s case count has grown to 445 since the start of the pandemic.
