B.C. reports 124 new COVID-19 cases, highest number in 24-hour period
VICTORIA – B.C. Health officials are reporting 124 new cases of COVID-19 in the province. It is the highest number of cases recorded in a single day since the pandemic began.
Health Minister Adrian Dix and Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry released a joint statement, listing the total number of cases recorded in B.C. as 5,496.
There are currently 974 active cases of COVID-19, which include four new cases in the Interior Health region.
