Kamloops man arrested in Kelowna alleged to have driven stolen vehicle erratically
KELOWNA — A Kamloops man is facing a number of charges after a dangerous driving spree in Kelowna.
According to a news release from Kelowna RCMP, just before 7:30 a.m. Wednesday (Aug. 26), officers responded to a complaint of a red Toyota Rav4 driving erratically in a residential area.
When an officer caught up with the vehicle and tried to pull it over, it drove off “in a dangerous manner.”
Mounties did not pursue, but when dispatchers received more complaints of the vehicle’s driving, officers swarmed the Burtch Road area, where they found the Rav4 abandoned.
