JOHN LEGEND PERFORMS AT DNC: John Legend performed “Never Break” from his latest album Bigger Love at the virtual Democratic National Convention last night. Sitting at his piano, Legend sang the song accompanied by backup singers. Tracee Ellis Ross introduced Legend. On Tuesday, Joe Biden became the official democratic nominee, with Presidents Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter supporting Biden at the virtual convention. (ET)

RON MEYER OUT: Longtime Hollywood exec Ron Meyer has left his job at NBCUniversal after 25 years due to a series of gambling and womanizing scandals, Page Six reports. His ex-mistress, identified as British actress Charlotte Kirk, 28, was threatening to expose the 75-year-old, Page Six reports. “I recently disclosed to my family and the company that I made a settlement, under threat, with a woman outside the company who had made false accusations against me,” Meyer said in a statement. He divorced his second wife Kelly Chapman in 2018 and saw Kirk while he was still married, Page Six reports. Meyer co-founded the Creative Artists Agency. (Page Six)

LORI LOUGHLIN TRIED TO HIDE BRIBES? Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli told their daughter Olivia Jade to “play it cool” with her “nosey” high school counselor, according to new court docs in the college admissions case against them. The counselor reportedly smelled a rat in her attempt to get into University of Southern California, and the parents did everything they could to keep their alleged bribe scheme under wraps. The docs state: “They involved both their daughters in the fraud, directing them to pose in staged photographs for use in fake athletic profiles and instructing one daughter how to conceal the scheme from her high school counselor.” The pair pleaded guilty and have agreed to serve short stints behind bars, pay fines and perform community service. STACEY DASH’S EX WANTS MARRIAGE ANNULLED: Stacey Dash and Jeffrey Marty both want their marriage annulled. Marty is claiming that he was in a spiritual trance when he said “I do,” according to papers obtained by TMZ. Dash’s pastor allegedly proclaimed the marriage was “God’s will” 10 days before their ceremony. Dash is not fighting his claims. (TMZ)
