Former Blazers JC Lipon signs in KHL

KAMLOOPS — JC Lipon is going to Russia.

Drafted off the Kamloops Blazers by the Winnipeg Jets in 2013 Lipon has signed with a team in the Kontinental Hockey League.

He played in 9 NHL games, all in the 2015-16 season.

Lipon was the longest tenured active player with the American Hockey League Manitoba Moose.

He appeared in 452 regular season games over seven seasons.
