Daily COVID-19 case count up to 85 Wednesday in B.C.

VICTORIA — The Province of B.C. has announced an eye-popping 85 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday (Aug. 12).
That is the highest single-day total of new COVID-19 cases in B.C. since March.
Provincial health officials say the total of all cases seen in B.C. is now 4,196, spread through the province as follows:
- 1,273 (Vancouver Coastal)
- 2,203 (Fraser Health)
- 150 (Island Health)
- 394 (Interior Health)
- 104 (Northern Health)
- 72 (Reside outside of Canada)
