Kamloops Minor Lacrosse on the comeback

Aug 11, 2020 | 1:43 PM

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Minor Lacrosse Association would like to announce that starting the last week of August to the end of October we will be launching a 2 phase season for Field Lacrosse!

We’ve started a poll on our Facebook page to better estimate how we will struture our season to benefit the differing age group interested.

Our executive has worked tirelessly at putting a program together that would keep our youth safe to play which has allowed us to be given a permit to use the lit field on Mac Island behind the KYSA office.

Phase 1 would include skills, drills and fitness while keeping physical distance

Phase 2 is if a playing season emerges we will organize those willing to play games into teams and collect any additional fees if required.

We are excited by the sudden availability to be able to play again and would love it if a quick message could be passed along to your readers and listeners to join the poll we have on Facebook so we can estimate the best appropriate fee to cover the costs of this season. Registration will open next week most likely on Tuesday.
