Wildfire situation stays stable

KAMLOOPS — The current wildfire situation in the province continues to be relatively stable. The only interface fire in the province is still the one at Dry Lake north of Princeton.

There are no “wildfires of note” in the province right now. Two new fires reported yesterday (Sunday) , both suspected to be caused by lightning. One is in the Kamloops Fire Centre, the other in the southeast district.

There are 26 fires currently burning in the province, 9 in the Kamloops Fire Centre.
