Provincial health officials reporting no new COVID-19 deaths, with 445 active cases in B.C
VICTORIA — Provincial health officials are reporting 131 new cases of COVID-19 in B.C today (Aug. 10), with no new deaths.
In an update, provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry says that brings the total number of cases so far to 4,065. Dr. Henry says there have been no new virus-related deaths over the last three days, which keeps the death toll at 195.
Here is how the new cases were broken down over the three-day period:
- 50 new cases between Friday and Saturday (Aug. 7 – 8)
- 37 new cases between Saturday and Sunday (Aug. 8 – 9)
- 44 new cases between Sunday and Monday (Aug. 9 – 10)
