HARVEY WEINSTEIN DOESN’T WANT TO GO TO LA JAILS: Harvey Weinstein doesn’t want to head to L.A. to face prosecution for sex crimes, TMZ reports. He is currently serving 23 years in NY for crimes committed there. The L.A.D.A. wants him extradited to face trial for crimes in California, but Weinstein’s lawyer Norman Effman told TMZ that Weinstein is prepared to fight it, saying that L.A. prisons are rife with COVID. The convicted rapist already got COVID in N.Y. in March, but his team says there’s no guarantee he won’t get it again. (TMZ)

TYRESE GIBSON DEFENDS R. KELLY: Tyrese Gibson talked to Fat Joe on social media this weekend, and when R. Kelly came up, he said: “R. Kelly, with all of his videos, what he was doing musically and sonically, and how he figured out a way to change and evolve and stay relevant over all of those years. I know he has a lot of controversy and heat on him. I get it.” He added: “I’m too real to fake it. I just have to say it. What I’ve learned over the years, there is a lot of people in our industry …. Everybody is involved in something that they don’t ever want people to know about publicly. I would say you know what ‘let god do his job.'” Kelly has been accused of repeatedly sexually abusing multiple girls. (The Blast)

SIMON COWELL THANKS FANS: After breaking his back testing out an e-bike, Simon Cowell went through surgery, but is on the road to recovery. The America’s Got Talent judge spoke out, thanking fans for their support. He said on social: “Some good advice… If you buy an electric trail bike, read the manual before you ride it for the first time. I have broken part of my back.
