
Decade long search for missing man continues
CHASE – Ten years later, the mystery behind the disappearance of Shayne Robinson continues. Robinson was living in Celista, B.C. when he was last seen July 23, 2010. He was reported missing five days later.
Mounties say the truck Robinson was driving was found abandoned along Enterprise Way in Louis Creek near Barriere July 24. The truck was described as a grey Dodge Ram four-door pickup. It had an Alberta licence plate number of YND 082. Robinson had lived in Edmonton but had recently relocated to British Columbia. He had borrowed the truck from his mother.
“The Chase RCMP remains dedicated in determining what happened to Shayne,” said Sgt. Barry Kennedy, Chase RCMP Detachment Commander. “We hope to be able to offer Shayne’s loved one’s answers to the questions they have carried with them for a decade now.”
