Britney Spears’ brother talks #FreeBritney campaign

Britney Spears’ older brother, Bryan, spoke out about the on the As Not Seen on TV podcast about the #FreeBritney Campaign.

The movement developed on social media amid growing concern and speculation from fans regarding Britney’s conservatorship under her father Jamie Spears, which has been in place since 2008.

“She’s always wanted to get out of [the conservatorship],” Bryan, 43, said on the podcast. “It’s very frustrating to have. Whether someone’s coming in peace to help or coming in with an attitude, having someone constantly tell you to do something has got to be frustrating.” He also said the two “speak constantly,” but he doesn’t use social media regularly, and doesn’t fully understand the #FreeBritney movement, adding that he did not believe there was any merit to the concern.

Meanwhile, Britney’s latest conservatorship hearing has been postponed. The virtual court hearing, which was set to happen Wednesday, was postponed after four individuals “illegally accessed the court’s digital video link system,” The Blast reported. The judge pushed back the hearing until August. According to The Blast’s sources, one of the people was a “documentary filmmaker.”
