VICTORIA — As high water continues to abate, the province has lifted the last two high streamflow advisories in the Kamloops area.

As of Tuesday afternoon (July 21), the B.C. River Forecast Centre (RFC) has ended advisories for the Bonaparte and South Thompson Rivers.

In a bulletin, the RFC says flows are still very high for mid-to-late July, but they are expected to keep receding in the coming days.

Advisories remain in place for much of the Fraser River system through the Interior.
