A pair of crashes in downtown Kamloops Tuesday

KAMLOOPS — There were a couple of fender benders in downtown Kamloops Tuesday afternoon (July 14).

The first took place at about 1:00 on Victoria Street West.

A Volkswagen sedan slammed into a fire hydrant, barely missing a light standard.

About a half-hour later, two vehicles collided at the intersection of Victoria Street and Tenth Avenue.

In both cases, injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
