With 25 new COVID-19 cases, B.C. sees highest single-day spike in more than two months

VICTORIA — B.C. has recorded the highest single-day total of new COVID-19 cases in more than two months.
According to a news release from Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry and Health Minister Adrian Dix, there were 25 new cases announced Friday (July 10), the most since the province saw 28 cases on May 8.
The jump brings the provincial total to 3,053, spread out as follows:
- 990 (Vancouver Coastal)
- 1,610 (Fraser Health)
- 135 (Island Health)
- 202 (Interior Health)
- 65 (Northern Health)
